How to Delete Your Strive Account
We understand that you may decide to discontinue using Strive. This page explains the process for deleting your account and what happens to your data.
Important Information
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your personal data will be permanently deleted
- You will lose access to your workout history, progress, and all other data
- Any active subscriptions should be canceled before deleting your account
Step-by-Step Account Deletion Process
Open the Strive App
Make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.
Navigate to the Profile Tab
Tap on the Profile icon located at the bottom of your screen.
Scroll to Settings
Scroll down to find the Settings section.
Find "Delete Account" Option
At the bottom of the Settings section, you'll find the "Delete Account" option.
Confirm Deletion
Tap "Delete Account" and confirm when prompted. You may need to sign in again for security purposes before the deletion can be completed.

What Happens to Your Data
Data We Delete
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Personal information (name, email, age, gender)
- Profile data (photos, preferences, settings)
- Workout history and logs
- Body measurements and progress data
- Health and fitness metrics
- User-created content (notes, custom workouts)
Data Retention Period
Once you request deletion, we will immediately begin the process of removing your data from our active systems. This process should be completed within 30 days. Some data may remain in our backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently deleted.
Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may retain some information after account deletion:
- Information required to comply with legal obligations
- Anonymized usage data that cannot be linked back to you
- Information necessary to protect against fraudulent activity
- Aggregated analytics data that does not identify you personally
Canceling Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid being charged, please cancel your subscription before deleting your account:
For iOS Users
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find and tap Strive
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
For Android Users
- Open the Google Play Store
- Tap your profile icon at the top right
- Tap Payments & subscriptions
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find and tap Strive
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions
